 San Agustín is an archeological zone it is located on the southwest of Colombia , San Agustin is a way of many Magdalena's tributaries rivers , that’s why they where many Indians civilization by there.

San Agustín es una Zona arqueológica que esta situada en el sur occidente Colombiano , San Agustín es un lugar de paso de muchos ríos descendientes del río Magdalena por eso es que habían tantas civilizaciones indígenas.

San Angustín is an hydrographical region an hydrographical accidents like the paramo de la papa , the Magdalena's original place . San Austin is a good place  for vegetation , animals and land forming.

 San Agustin es una region con mucha hidrografía y accidentes geográficos como el páramo de la papa, el lugar donde nace el rio Magdalena. San Agustín es un buen sitio para vegetación, animales y tierras finqueras

As scientists have seen and study is what does the San Agustín Indians eat and they said that the principal product was the corn , they also eat nuts, beans and the fishes they obtain from the river but the scientists proved that potatoes and yucca where not eated.

Científicos estudiaron que era lo que los indios de San Agustín comían y descubrieron que el principal alimento o producto era el maíz pero también comían nueces, otros granos y pescados que pescaban en ríos cercanos. También comprobaron que no comían ni papa ni yuca.

Pottery / Alfareria                                                                      

The pottery of San Agustín and the one of Tierradentro have many similarities like in : the color of the clay , the shapes and decorations also in what the use it ; most of the pottery was used for funerals and for cook the one that is used on the funerals are put it in because Indians thought that the dead people was going for another life and they put in the properties of the dead Indian that they think he would need it.

La alfarería en san Agustín es muy similar a la de tierradentro en las formas color y decoración la mayoría de estas eran usadas para meter en las tumbas con los muertos o para cocinar.

                       Gold work / orfebrería

 The gold work for them was very important, was a small, just a small part of they life, that’s what they put in all their body to look attractive, some archeologists found in tombs many gold jewelry.

El oro hacia una pequeña parte de sus vidas, porque eso era lo que ellos usaban en todo el cuerpo para lucir bien, algunos arqueólogos encontraron en    tumbas muchas joyas de oro.

          Funerary practices / practicas funerarias

The one that is used on the funerals are put it in because Indians thought that the dead people was going for another life and they put in the properties of the dead Indian that they think he would need it.

los indios enterraban a los muertos con sus propiedades porque creían en que cuando alguien se moría se iba para otra vida entonces le metían lo que pensaban que le iba a servir para la otra vida a el muerto.
